Pets 🐹
This year 2022 has been full of surprises.
From finally ending covid, to my two piggies passing away. When people say you learn a lot from pets, it’s true. I learned tons of important lessons of responsibility, and what it means to take care of another life.
I’ve had two piggies, one named happy (ha’ppy), and another named chibi. Both are female. These two were sisters born from the same mother. It was very special for me and my twin sister because they showed up in the pet store just before times got rough they stuck with us through thick and thin.
My mom and dad didn’t really think of getting us pets, but me and my twin gathered all the coins we’ve found and pleaded to our parents till they agreed to get us the guinea pigs. The convincing took a while and we thought the piggies might have already gone with another family, but when we went back to the store there they were next to the few animals remaining.
My mom said seeing us so desperately try to gain their trust, reminded her of how God is trying to do the same. God is trying to reach out to his children. He keeps trying till the day we finally reply and realize that God is there, and He’s always waiting, ready to receive and give love to us.
We’ve got 3 new piggies and we’re still learning new lessons and helping younger siblings learn lessons as well.
